Coaching for challenging times

Wednesday, September 8th, 2010

We’re very much looking forward to working with delegates at University of the Arts London this month. We’ll be delivering a practical half-day course for staff with managerial responsibility who are currently facing difficult conversations in the workplace. Delegates will explore how to approach such challenges with courage, confidence and clarity; how to recognise and read others’ behaviours; and how to adapt communication style to manage unfamiliar and complex situations.

Challenging times but with a bit of coaching, we aim to make things a little easier.

Lancaster mezze day

Wednesday, March 3rd, 2010

Pete is up at Lancaster University today delivering our new Communicate with Confidence course. This mezze of sessions enables the delegates to pick & choose ‘small plates’ of coaching. Including:

• Working on active listening in 1:1 sessions
• Presenting with confidence
• Physical and vocal presence
• Skills in starting conversations at conferences and networking events
• Practice at making interventions and contributing in meetings

The university is also undergoing some exciting new building rennovations so voice work is really being put the test with the distant sound of drilling!

A good time had by all!

Fantastic feedback…

Wednesday, February 10th, 2010

Following our great day at the University of Nottingham conference last, we wanted to share some of the fantastic responses from the attendees.

Comments included “I would recommend this event to others, it reinforces the high quality of support available at the University of Nottingham!” and “Excellent conference, exceeded expectations!”.

88% of the attendees said the event lived up to their expectations and 90% would recommend the event to others.

Great stuff! It was a pleasure!
